OBITUARY
Peter G. Blair
August 1942 – February 2025
Peter Blair passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in February of 2025.
Peter is predeceased by his adopted brother Steven, sister Barbara, and brother Michael. He is survived by wife Beverley, his children David (Nicole), Charles, Caroline, three grandchildren, seven siblings, and a large extended family.
Peter Blair was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and moved to the US with his family as an adolescent where he completed his high school years and obtained his first job. After several years in the US, the family ventured to Australia where Peter, being a skilled, dependable and valued employee, came into his own as a young man, and was a huge support to his father and family in their farm project.
After leaving Australia, Peter immigrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada, where he met his wife and raised a family with her. He was a dependable, kind, loving and approachable man who was—true to his name, a “rock” to his family, and a helpful, contributing, and valued member of his community.
In more recent years, Peter enjoyed spending time with his wife Beverley, conversing and visiting with his family both locally and abroad (especially his beloved grandchildren in Germany), traveling, and studying God’s Word with his wife and others of the Christian faith.
A celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Friday, March 28th, 2025.
The celebration of life service will take place from 1:30 pm at Fleetwood Christian Reformed Church, 9165 160 Street, Surrey, BC V4N 2X7, Pastor Evan Brooks presiding.
This service will be followed by a reception at the same location, until 4 o’clock.
