Arlene Patzwald

Arlene Patzwald of Olds, Alberta passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the age of 75.  Arlene was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan.  Arlene is lovingly remembered by her two children, Susan Patzwald of Olds and Stacey (Mike) Layden of Olds; as well as 3 grandchildren, Kurtis, Travis and Isabelle Layden.  Arlene also leaves behind her mother, Hilda Anderson; two sisters, Sherry (Gary) LaBatte, Lorna Anderson and one brother Bob (Jean) Anderson; her brothers-in-law Elmer Patzwald, Herman (Erna), Bob; sisters-in-law Gertie (Alfred) Domres, Elsie Patzwald and Ida Patzwald, as well as many other family and friends to mourn her passing.  Arlene was predeceased by her husband of 44 years Matt and her father Raymond.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 5241 – 46 Street, Olds, Alberta on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut, 100, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, Alberta  T2N 1Z6 or at www.heartandstroke.ab.ca.
