1956 – 2014

Louise Oxtoby of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the age of 58 years.

Louise was born on April 1, 1956 in Innisfail, AB. She married her husband, Gearld Oxtoby on November 19,1977. They raised three children on their family farm west of Innisfail. Louise also worked in town at chartered accountant firms for over 30 years. She was an active member in the Ladies Auxiliary at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #104 as president from 1989-1990. Louise was very involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives as well as enjoyed many outdoor activities.

Louise is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gearld; three children, Clinton Oxtoby (Monica Sawley), Amber Verbonac (Ryan), and Tyler Oxtoby; four grandchildren, Georgia and Ruby Oxtoby, and Payton and Sierra Verbonac; and two step grandchildren, Cash and Beau Elliott.

Funeral Service to be held at the Innisfail United Church, 4720 – 48 Avenue, Innisfail, AB on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Louise's honor to the Canadian Cancer Society, #101, 6751 – 52 Avenue, Red Deer, AB, T4N 4K8.

Gerald & Family, It was a saddened suprise when we heard of Louises passing. Although we have not crossed paths in alot of years, we just want you to know that you are in our thoughts. We remember the good times we shared with you and Louise at the cattle shows and sales, those memories will always be treasured.
