Gilbert Andrew Osborne

Gilbert passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 with family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Anna; his first wife Ora; brother Andrew; sister Grace. Gilbert is survived by his wife Helen; son Greg (Marla); granddaughter Shanaye; step-grandsons Kyle and Chris; stepsons Mike, James, and Jeff (Kristina); brothers Olaf and Fred (Norma Jean); sisters Stella, Astrid, and Norma (Bill); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Gil was born in Earl Grey, SK and grew up on the farm. He worked for SaskPower and also farmed near McLean. Gil was a very kind and gentle man who loved spending time with family. His favourite hobbies were playing the accordion and dancing. In keeping with his wishes a private family service will be held.

Helen, I just talked to Gus, she told me your Gil had died, I am so sorry. I found the obit which mentioned he loved dancing and I remember either you or Gus telling me that was an excellent reason for you to enjoy life together. Hope I have my memories right. Also you are a grandmother, congratulations!
