Shirley Dean Olynuk (nee Hitchcock) passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Thomas (Delia) Hitchcock ; daughter, Lynn (Ray) Starkey; son, Don (Kathryn) Meidinger; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, ZoAnne, Dustin, Jessa-Lynn and Russel; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Gaetz United Church, 4758 – 50 Street, Red Deer, AB at 2:00 pm.

Lynn, Don and families, I won't be able to attend your Mom's service but want you to know I'm thinking of you. I worked at the Friendly Store in Bassano when I was in high school and through the summers way back then, with Shirley and always liked her. We had some good laughs together.
