Erling “Shorty” Olsen, longtime farming resident of Airdrie, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Erling is lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Arlene of 62 years; daughter, Lynn; son, Gary (Connie); 2 grandchildren, Kai and Kristina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Erling’s Life will be held at the Airdrie Town & Country Community Hall, 275 Jensen Drive NE on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Erling’s memory to a charity of your choice.
