O’BRAY, Edward "Ted" Gordon
November 26, 1933 ~ July 15, 2016

After a long battle with cancer, Ted passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the age of 82 years in Calgary, AB. Also born in Calgary, Ted was an avid cowboy his whole life as well as the Calgary horserace track being a huge part of his life with his father. He provided for his family working as an Iron Worker and was a huge support for his boys in hockey, and his daughter in rodeos.

Ted is lovingly remembered by his wife, Betty O'Bray; daughter,Cindy (Darald) Salter and their children, Jeff, Lisa, and Ginger Klassen; and 6 grandchildren; son, Marty O'Bray (Charmaine Robinson) and his children, Jessie O'Bray and Tyrel O'Bray; son, Darcy O'Bray (Leona Deneumoustier-O'Bray) and their children, Sean O’Bray and Scott O'Bray; sister, Jackie (Bill) Petrunik; sister-in-law, Dorothy O'Bray; mother-in-law, Edna Maxwell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Ruth McCaw; and their 3 daughters. He is predeceased by his parents, Gordon & Ethel O'Bray; and brother, Larry O'Bray.

In keeping with Ted’s wishes, no Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to:
