MURPHY, Kevin Patrick

December 7, 1959 – August 18, 2013

Kevin Patrick Murphy was the son of Louise Murphy and the late Reginald Murphy (2008). He passed suddenly at the Rockyview Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Louise; sisters, Patricia (Jim) of Cambell River, BC, Helen (Harold) St. Peter Chamcook, NB, Richard (Charlene) of Vancouver and Berniece (Reggie) of Calgary; special caregivers, Mike Vonwolzogen and wife Melody, Fred Mills and wife Jean, Bruce and Debbie Bannick; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father Reginald and brother Thomas. A memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice may be made.

Messages of Condolence

For Mike and Melody and all of Kevins family. I am so very sorry to hear of Kevins sudden passing. My thoughts are with you during this very sad time. I had not seen Kevin for awhile and would wonder about him often. He was always a pleasure to see in the Cochrane Laboratory and for years brought a smile to my face and sometimes a huge chuckle when he graced our laboratory with his presence. I will never forget the many times he announced that he was going to get married to "Belinda Carlyle",(God Bless Him). I know this made you smile too Mike! I also know how much fun he had at Glennifer Lake during the summer. Kevin was lucky to have so many special people in his life and will be deeply missed. I for one will always remember Kevin with a smile.....even though he hated my needle pokes! God Bless, Hollie Erickson
