MUNRO, William Thomas

William Munro of Drumheller, born March 12, 1934, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the age of 81 years. William is survived by his nieces, Lesley Francis (and family), Lea Polny (husband, Darcy and family); and brother-in-law, Ed Francis. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Anna Munro; as well as his sister, Mary. A Private Family Memorial has taken place.

My name is Christine Hadfield. I am so sorry for your loss. I work with Helping Hands and had the pleasure of meeting Bill just one year ago. Bill and I spent many car rides enjoying a chocolate milkshake and checking on fields in the area. I grew up in the country back in Manitoba so have a small grasp on farming. Bill was always kind to me and gave me plenty of smiles and chuckles. We even enjoyed a short dance once! :)I always looked forward to visiting him. I too will miss him!
