Marion Morstad a great mother, grandmother and friend passed away on Monday, May 19,2014 at the age of 81 years. A very proud Edmontonian and Albertan Marion is lovingly remembered by her children, Cal (Julie), Cam (Donna), Kelly (Melanie), Dawn (Alan Mason), and Todd; 13 grandchildren, Connor, Jordan, Shannon, Patrick, Sean, Erinn, Luke, Kevin, James, Ryan, Nolan, Sarah and Jack; brother, Gordon Bacon(Doreen) and many relatives and friends. Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Merrill and her parents, Roy and Sadie Bacon. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace United Church, 6215-104 Ave, Edmonton, AB on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion’s memory to The University of Alberta Hospital Foundation, Brain Campaign, 8440 – 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2B7 or at www.GiveToUHF.ca, Brain Centre Campaign.

To the Morstad Family, It is never easy losing a loved one especially a Mother/Grandmother. May you seek comfort in remembering all the special times you shared with her. I will always remember Marion as someone with welcoming arms & a radiant smile who lived life to the fullest and cherished her family & friends.
