MORROW, Maxine Dianne

Maxine Morrow, born February 7, 1948 to Orlene and Edwin Morrow in Peterborough, ON passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Red Deer, AB. Max has left the world a better place by giving it Karen Morrow-Jantz, Colleen Tysoe, Rick Jantz, Kristen, Jamie and Graham.

At Max’s request, there will be no Funeral or Memorial Service. Instead, please consider adopting a fur friend from the SPCA, planting flowers, sharing a diet Coke with the people you love and celebrating the beautiful moments in each day.

I am so sad, I worked with Max for many years. She really was one of a kind, she loved her family, her animals so fiercely! I was always amazed at her many work projects at home and her accomplishments! A hard worker with a no nonsense approach. So very sorry!

Maxine was always there for her patients and would always make my day, it was "Hun" or "Dear" when we spoke about staffing. She taught me a lot even though the majority of time we spoke over the phone at work, there was a lot of respect for her there as well. May she be at peace in her own special piece of heaven and my the memories you have as a family carry you all through the days ahead.

Big sigh...Max called me on the phone only a few months back. She had discovered a "new" antique type store and we were going to check it out together. I had asked about her girls and her grandchildren..I almost feel like i know them, as when you spend that many years working with someone we all talk about our families. I enjoyed working/learning alongside of her and I have a pic on my fridge of a few of us sitting at the nursing station. Oh Max, how can it be? Happy trails girl....happy trails.

"Unbelievable" to hear of the passing of Max, I was so blessed to know you & proud to call you a friend! I've known Max for the last 23 yrs & worked with her for 11 yrs. I was amazed with all her home renovations over the years, always talked about her daughters Karen & Colleen & loved her animals so much. I will always remember Max for her kindness, compassionate, caring & humour. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Colleen, Karen & their family and may you's be comforted by her wonderful memories. I am so saddened to hear that my friend and co-worker has passed away and as I'm reading these messages I sincerely hope that her best friends (her pets) are being cared for as she would want them to be. Max , you were always willing to help in any way, I'll miss you.

Onto bigger and better things, always planning her next project, yup that was Max. Fondly remember her standing up for her coworkers, patients, and everyone's pets. A truly unique lady that I was lucky enough to have met, worked with, and learned so much from. Lots of memories, luv ya Max!
