Lori Morris was promoted to Glory on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Lori is lovingly remembered by her family, sons, Mike (Annie), John (Ellen), Doug (Liz); daughter, Mary (Jim) Renwick; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as honorary grandchildren, family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Wes; son, Jim; and grandson, Zachary Renwick.

A Celebration of Lori’s Life will be held at Foothills Alliance Church, 333 Edgepark Blvd NW, Calgary, AB on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm. A special Thank You to the doctors and nurses at the Foothills Hospital for their professional and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lori’s memory to Foothills Alliance Church, 333 Edgepark Blvd NW, Calgary, AB, T3A 4K4.

Messages of Condolence

I want to send my condolences to all of the family. I'll always remember Lori as a totally devoted mother to her children. Whenever she could, she would travel miles, sometimes taking risks, to give support and help to her family. She could always count on Doug and Liz to be there for her.....I'm sure she appreciated their devotion. And now she can rest well.

I got to know Lori when my parents moved into the Lodge at Valley Ridge; she was their table mate and quickly became a devoted friend and champion for them. She was immediately interested in everything that was their life, including their family....and at my first meeting with her we chatted and 'sparred' as if we'd known each other for years. She was kind, cheerful, humorous, a tireless volunteer and a devoted mother and wife. It was my privilege to know her even for a short time.
