Olinda Morasch

Olinda Morasch passed away peacefully and suddenly at Tudor Manor, Okotoks on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the age of 92 years. Born in the Hearts Hill Saskatchewan area to John and Amelia Meier in 1927. Olinda was predeceased by her parents and brothers, John, Karl, Alex and sister Natalie (Dora). She was also predeceased by her husbands Victor (1992) and Walter (2003). Olinda is survived by her sister Alvina. She is also survived by her sons Brian (Kim) and Wayne (Peggy), and her grand children Katherine, Michael (Echo), Nicole, Ryan (Stacey), Cameron and Terrilyn. She also has surviving great and great, great grandchildren.

Olinda enjoyed many social events and loved to travel with her husband (Vic) in the winter months.  She loved playing bingo, card games and making trips to the local casino and enjoyed knitting and sewing.  She was a long-time member of the Legion and had many close friends, who will truly miss her fun filled spirit. Being a very generous person, her family was always very important to her and enjoyed all family gatherings and outings shared with them.

She will be lovingly remembered by many of her extended family and friends.

At Olinda’s request, no formal service will be held.
