We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our strong, beautiful and kind, Monica Louise Lowe. 

She faced her final days with the same toughness and calm strength that carried her through her life. She held strong to her family and her faith in Jesus right up until the end of her short and fierce battle with cancer, on September 16th, 2025.  

Monica was born on October 25th, 1955 in Vancouver, BC. Her greatest peace was found at her home in Ryder Lake,  shared with her best friend and loving husband of 45 years, Gerald Lowe.

Monica spent most of her time outdoors. She had a deep love of all animals, especially horses. She treasured her times spent riding the Rotary and Trans Canada trails, living her dreams of barrel racing, and passing her lifelong passion for horses onto the next generation of riders, including her daughter and grandchildren.

Monica will be forever missed by her husband Gerald, son Ryan, daughter Amanda, stepson Jeremy and by her grandchildren Oliver, Jack, Arizona and Kayle. As well as by her brothers Steve and Bruce, sister Dorothy, her cherished friend Sharon, and by many other members of her family, friends and community. 

We will join together to celebrate Monica's life on October 25th, 2025. More details to follow.
