Ross earned his Angel Wings and can now fly with the Eagles after a long, courageous battle with COPD.
Ross MMLB was very involved with the Addiction Recovery Centers in Alberta. During his own 41 years of recovery, he opened his heart to hundreds of people whom he had sponsored while on their own path to recovery. Words spoken by Ross to all those he sponsored; “Only God closes doors no man can close and only God continues to open doors than no man can open”
Ross began working at the very young age of 12 selling Cotton Candy at the Calgary Stampede and travelled the fair circuit. Ross was also self-employed for many years, from making home computer cabinets to manufacturing equipment for the Pipe Lines.
In 1989 Ross found his true passion, a career in Real Estate. He became a well-known Realtor in Calgary and continued with this career until his COPD took over his daily life in 2016.
Ross will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Shawn (Treena) Miller, Shelly (Ron) Nicol and Ria (Shawn) Cox; grandchildren, Audra, Erick, Devon, Kyra, Keisha; Addison, Briar, Brandon, Zachary and Madison; great-grandchildren; Noah and Rosie; sister and best friend, Sharon Miller; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends whom he loved so dearly. Ross also leaves behind his first wife, Bregitha Rose, who is the mother of his 2 eldest children, Shawn and Shelly. He was very much dearly loved by all who knew him. Ross is predeceased by his mother, Lillian Miller; father, Edwin Miller; sisters, Marilyn (Peter) Vogt and Carol (Ivan) Boyartchuk. Ross is also predeceased by his first great-granddaughter, Carter Rose Desrochers, who he is holding in heaven now.
When you think of Ross whether, it be today tomorrow or every day. Raise a Pepsi, have a package of Excel Winter Fresh gum or Won Ton Soup in his honor.
