It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Preston Meyer on Monday, June 12, 2017. A father, husband, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to so many. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Leah; children, Dustin, Quinn, Elise and Colby; grandchildren, Salem, Logan and Onyx; sister, Shauna Rose; and brothers, Race, Kimball, Lansing and Blair.

A Celebration of Preston’s Life will be held at the Kensington Common Church, 2404 Kensington Road NW, Calgary, AB on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

It is with great sadness I leave my condolences to the family on news of Preston's passing. Though we lost touch over the last few years, Preston has frequently been in my thoughts as has all the Meyer family. I will always remember Preston, as a kind, giving, funny and wonderful soul that it was a pleasure to be around. For many years Preston was a best friend of mine.. I loved him dearly. He was such a kind caring friend and a loving father, son and brother. I first met Preston in 1990, he sold me my first fireplace. Who knew 20 years later his daughter would join our clan and bless us with 2 beautiful children. Preston will be missed but his legacy will live on, what he did to build his business to such a success isn't achieved by many. He has now left that legacy for his family and friends to build upon and continues to support his family and friends. R.I.P.
