Loretta Mengel

It is with great sadness the family of Loretta announce her passing on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 98 years.

Loretta was predeceased by her husband George, sons-in-law Harvey Thauberger and Gary Lang, infant granddaughter Kelly Thauberger and grandsons Jeff Mengel and Kirk Lang.

Left to cherish Lorettta’s memory are her daughters Jeanette Thauberger and Joan Lang, sons Gerald (Gloria) Mengel and Gord Mengel, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters Anne Metz and Mary Rogoschewsky.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Holdfast, SK. Interment in Holdfast Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Holdfast Church Building Fund or Holdfast Cemetery Fund.
