Irene McPhee

McPHEE, Irene Edith (nee Hobson)

Irene Edith McPhee (nee Hobson) of Red Deer passed away March 08, 2019 at the age of 77 in the Red Deer Hospital, after a lifelong battle with Lupas. Her three children son, Kevin Emmerling, daughter, Faith Ellert and son, Michael Emmerling wish to share their mothers last words of wisdom -

"Remember me with smiles and laughter, as I will remember you.  

If you remember me with tears don't remember me at all."

Irene will be fondly remembered in her strength of courage by her three siblings: Keith Hobson, Dennis Hobson and Mary Bressler.  

She loved her grandsons, granddaughters, great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her very good friend Ernie McPhee. 

Irene carried a torch for many charities and was always a kind friend to anyone needing a shoulder.  

Donations can be made in her memory to a charity affiliated with the Lupus/Kidney foundations.
