Bradley Edward McNeil

Bradley is survived by his loving companion Jessie Lewis; mother Heather McDonald Cutting; daughter Allison McNeil; grandchildren Porter and Paisley Lampkin; stepbrother Jim Cutting; stepsister Tammy Smith; and stepchildren Kevin and Jennifer Smith. He will be sadly missed and loved by his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. You will be missed.

Bradley was predeceased by his father John McNeil, his brother Brent McNeil and his stepfather Wayne Cutting.

I would like to thank Sam, Sherryl, Sheana and Hanna (my Crook Clan) for all their help, support and love during this sad, difficult time. You guys are the best. I also thank all my friends. You mean so much to me.

In loving memory of my husband and best friend, Bradley Edward McNeil, you will always be my brown eyed handsome man. Words can’t express my pain and sorrow. Seventeen years of mostly good times - a few not so good. We were so much alike, we sometimes clashed. We travelled a lot of roads together and ended up in Saskatchewan. We both really loved our small town and the awesome caring friends we met here. Still we missed Ontario, our families and friends but we were honestly happy with the life we had here. I will miss you forever and I’ll love you always. When I go for a walk and the wind is blowing I look up and I say love is like the wind. You can feel it but you can’t hold it. RIP my love until we meet again. I will hold you in my heart. Thanks Sam and Hanna for staying with me until the end. – Jessie

In loving memory of our friend and brother-in-law Brad, Brad was a big part of Paul’s and my life. He would call us Mom and Dad as a joke and we played along with it. He lived with us for awhile and then he met my sister and became our brother-in-law so we had our friend right in the family. We had lots of good times together and you will be missed. I was working at our local Salvation Army store when I first met Jessie & Brad! They greeted me with honest smiles!! We instantly became friends! Shortly thereafter, Jessie began working at our store! So we were able to connect with Brad a lot too! We were blessed with his homemade/out of this world chili! And also his lasagna! He was a chef under that mechanic shell!! We shared many laughs! You will truly be missed big guy!! So honoured to have known you!! ❤️

I was so thrilled when Bradley was born. My favourite little sweetheart cousin,, until he was taller than me. He was so sweet as a little guy and so kind as a big guy!! He will be missed by so many. And he will have a very special place in my heart. I’m praying he’s with his little brother now and both are at peace.

This is difficult to write, it is not long ago that I found grandchildren belonging to my much loved sister Margaret McNeil(nee Wilcox) whom I did not know existed. You see my beloved sister was married to Edward McNeil, Brad's grandfather many years. Alas my one and only sister(we had 7 brothers), married Edward (Ted) when I was only about 6 years old. I spent many summer holidays with Margaret when she rescued me from the 7 brothers. Alas it was not in the cards for Margaret to have a long life, sadly she passed in 1947 at the young age of 25, leaving behind 3 lovely children, a daughter Fern, sons John (Brad's Dad) & Arthur. Sadly they are all gone now as is my only sister. The good news is this story is that I got to locate my sister's grandchildren(whom she never knew) through Facebook. What a wonderful time this was. I really enjoyed my stories back and forth with Brad, and we even had some good phone conversations. Sadly the news about Brad came just before my 89th birthday, here I am living in B.C. and watching all my siblings one-by-one leave this realm. I was only a young teen when Margaret passed on, and I hope that somewhere in this great scheme of life, Margaret somehow knows I met her grandson, what a privilege it was to learn to know Brad. I know he was a car/motor/truck enthusiast, and I know he came by that honestly, as his Dad was forever tinkering with vehicles. I learned how much Brad loved the big old cars, alas they are going to be a thing of the past. Brad if you run into my beloved sister Margaret, your grandmother, give her the biggest hug you can from me, and tell I am going to join her one of these days. Rest in peace Brad, you have many here who are missing you. Hugs from your Great Aunt June.

Bradley I like to think of you being reunited with your brother Brent, it has always made me happy to know my boys had such a close bond. I have so many good memories of the two of you. It was a privilege to have had such amazing sons. You were a joy to me, not only were you my son you were my friend. I thank God for giving you to me and I pray that He will keep you in his care. Brad you were a very special person, the story's you could tell. I am going to miss our phone calls you always had some story to tell and would often make me think is he pulling my leg or telling me the truth. You had a heart of gold, I am truly going to miss you.

Brad, what can I say? I am still so shocked and saddened. It wasn't long ago we spoke. I will always keep your memory close to my heart. You were so amazing with my kids and, you quickly became family. We have missed you incredibly since you left but, knowing you were still there made it easier with the hope you would return one day. My heart goes out to your Mom, Ally and Jessie. To be burdend with this unbearable loss is unimaginable. Dear neighbour, I haven’t seen your face in town for a while. You were a very memorable community member - for your kindness and your smile. Your name passed through my desk at work today. I was saddened to hear about your passing. Just a few years ago, in a store, you heard my little one telling me she wanted a treat and you handed her a few loonies to buy herself something. You don’t know how much I appreciated that as I was a single mom with no income at that time. If heaven had a test for you in this world, you passed with flying colours. Thank you for helping me realize that there are wonderful angles that walk amongst us. It’s hard to forget people with big hearts. Rest - for now. See you around.
