Chiara (Grade 10, Diefenbaker High School, had nothing but great things to say about Mr. McLeod her Math teacher. He made math not only tolerable, but fun. Whenever he asked the class if they had any questions about polynomials or math concepts, Chiara's hand shot up and he patiently would explain anything to her that she didn't understand. It made going to school worthwhile after four moves in two years. Chiara's marks and motivation have slipped since Mr. McLeod's passing. To his family and friends, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God welcome Mr. McLeod into His kingdom.

My apologies for writing this so late, but I just found this and wanted to share my experiences. While never having Mr. McLeod as a teacher, he ran the GSA I was a part of, and was one of the only reasons I felt welcomed and safe at that school. He was one of the most kind and supportive teachers at that school and without him it just never felt the same. One of my strongest memories of him was during an assembly. I was having an extremely hard time with all the noise so he invited me outside to help calm down. He just sat there with me in the hallway while I destressed, making 100% sure I was okay to return. I still think about him sometimes and I'm glad I found this so I could share. I can't imagine what his family must be going through with his loss and my heart goes out to them. He was a wonderful person, and Deif was never the same without him. I'm so sorry
