McGRANDLE, “Merdie”
October 26, 1935 – March 5, 2015

Merdie passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the age of 79 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Aurora; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Bethany Baptist Church, 3901 – 44 Street, Red Deer, AB on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Merdie’s memory to the Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, AB, T4R 3S6.

Messages of Condolence

My/our memories of Uncle Merdie will always be of an honourable man with a constant smile that accompanied a never ending sense of humour. We won't being travelling back for the service but our thoughts go out to all, knowing he is in a place of comfort and love.

We shall really miss Merdie as he was such a mentor and "big brother" to Len growing up together in the same community. We are so sorry we are unable to be at his memorial service and extend our heartfelt sympathies to all his family and friends.
