Sally Elaine McCann

Sally Elaine McCann passed away suddenly and peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the Foothills Medical Centre.

Sally is lovingly remembered by her family, husband, Terry of 38 years, daughter, Sarita Perras; son in law, Clark Perras; and her precious grandson, Colton; 2 sisters, Linda Rouleau & Sylvia (Denis) Cyrenne; brother in law, Rick (Debbie Paur) McCann; 5 sisters in law, Debbie (Doug) Chapman, Jody McCann, Cindy (Mike) Levitsky, Linda McCann & Marian Ross as well as many dear nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews too numerous to list.

Sally was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Louise (Ross) Rempel; step father Lloyd Rempel; mother and father in law, Max and Vi McCann; brother Lanny Ross; brother in law, Phil Rouleau; niece Heather Vollrath; and nephew, Jeffrey Ross.

Sally’s home was always a place of laughter and uniquely decorated with owls, some refer to this as OOCD – obsessive owl craziness disorder. She loved her Bingo and went once a week for years. Sally was a 50% partner with Terry in the family plumbing and heating business in Airdrie for 38 years.  Sally’s weekends from April to October where spent at their home away from home at Eagle Lake RV Resort for the last 22 years. The family enjoyed many winter holidays in warmer climates. She will always be remembered as being full of joy and eager to help everyone no matter what the problem. Sally was loyal, kind and a gentle person to all her family and friends.

Sally showed such pride and love towards her daughter Sarita and son in law Clark and was a grandma that loved Colton dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Crossfield Community Centre, 900 Mountain Ave., Crossfield, AB on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
