After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Lou passed shortly after celebrating his 80th birthday. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Karen (Terry) Woods, Jennifer (Brian) Lanthier; grandchildren, Lexi, Corbin, Breana, Nolan and Caitlan; sister, Yolanda Miller; countless friends and co-workers. A special thanks to doctors and staff of unit 39 at the Peter Lougheed Centre. A Service will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Lutheran Church of the Master, 216 Main Street South, Airdrie, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lou’s memory to the Airdrie Hospice Society, Box 70014 Sobey’s Creekside RPO, Airdrie, AB, T4B 0V9
