Edna passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at the age of 95 years. She will be remembered for being a fiercely strong independent woman who threw in a bit of sassy attitude that everyone loved. Edna will also be missed for all the crocheted afghans she loved to make for everyone.
Edna is lovingly remembered by her children, Betty (Ted) O’Bray, John (Ruth) McCaw; grandchildren, Cindy (Darald) Salter, Marty O’Bray (Charmaine Robinson), Darcy (Leona) O’Bray, Corrie-Jo (Brad) Shephard, Bobbi-Jo (Jamie) Milne, Necole (Bob) Steendam; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great, great grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Hammel and Emma Snookes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Edna was predeceased by her husband, Howard Maxwell and numerous siblings and in-laws.
