Doug is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kelsey and Marlee; his grandchildren, Safi, Maya, Hailee, Nolan and Lucas; his sister, Patrice; nephews, Kip and Keaton; and niece Claire.

Doug will be remembered for his kindness, great sense of humour, and lively spirit.

My heart goes out to Kelsey and Marlee. Doug was so very proud of his "girls" and grandchildren. No matter where he was in his life's journey he always had time to phone Carol and I to catch up and, of course, brag about his family. Doug was my oldest, dearest friend and my heart is broken losing him. So long and rest in peace Doug. You will be missed.

I'll always remember the fun times both in and out of the office. I shared an office with Doug at Gulf and that seems like yesterday. He always made the day seem sunnier and brighter with his wonderful sense of humor and his excellent outlook on life. I watched Marlee and Kelsey grow up from a distance and know how much Doug loved them and admired what they accompished. Miss you Doug!
