Arthur "Art" Matheis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur “Art” Matheis at the age of 87 on November 9, 2021.

Art was predeceased by his parents Peter and Rosalie; his brothers Willard and Norm; his sister Ella; and daughter Nancy. He is survived by his loving partner Eileen and her daughter Shannon (Jeremy) and her children Karley, Blake and Zoey. He is also survived as well by his daughter Debbie; sons Doug (Sherel) and Wes (Carol); his sister Elsie and his brother Gilbert (Elaine); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be forever loved and forever remembered.

Art’s wishes were for no service to be held. The family appreciates your love and support at this difficult time.

To The Family of Arthur Matheis, My husband Clint and 3 boys and their families, siblings Jason(Erin) , Alexis ( her 2 children) Donald and his family would like to pass on these words of Condolences to Arts surviving family. Remember the Joy, Forget the pain. Let all your tears, fall like rain. Remember the Fun, The happy Past. The sadness you're feeling won't always last. In Deepest Sympathy to you all. We will miss him, he was always there for us as a step-father and grandfather over the past 30+ years and his stories of the CN and his travels will be kept as just 1 of our memories we will keep close to our hearts.
