George Martin

George passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2014 at Langley Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Nora. His wonderful children Scott (Karen), Merrill (Guy), Craig and stepchildren Debra, Ken, Julia, and Kevin. Proud grandfather of Tara, Paige, Melanie and great- grandfather of Kennedy and Georgia. He will also be missed by his brother John (Esther) and families of Scotland & Australia.

George’s passion was piping, he retired from Vancouver Police Band a few years ago, but continued playing with the Shrine Band up until this past December.  He was also a member of the Belmont Golf Club where he spent many happy hours with his golf buddies on the course and at the 19th hole.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday January 17th, 2014 at 2:30pm taking place at The West Langley Hall 9400 208 Street, Langley, BC.
