Ronny Allen Lucas

November 26, 2019

Ronny Lucas
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of a truly amazing man. Ronny Allen Lucas passed away suddenly but peacefully on November 26, 2019 at the tender age of 47. Ron was born on January 21, 1972 in Calgary, Alberta. He was the third child and only son of Rodney and Linda Lucas. He is predeceased by his older sister, Belynda (1985) and mother, Linda (2015). He is survived by his father, Rodney, and remaining sister, Leona (Rigel). He is also survived by 3 nieces; 2 great nieces; and four great nephews. Ron was especially fond of his great niece, Tapanga, and they shared an incredible bond. She was his first great niece and he spent a lot of time with her since birth. He was always eager to have her around and would often bring her to work with him and show her off anyway he could. He communicated with Tapanga almost daily and she held a very special place in his heart. Ron spent most of his life in Didsbury, Alberta. He ran a family business in Calgary for several years before becoming a Quality Control Consultant with Strike Group. Ron was an amazing and caring man. A loveable teddy bear if you will. He was so kindhearted and joyful. He always looked out for others and always put his best foot forward. He was a strong man who fought so hard and we are so proud of the man he was. Ron Lucas will be greatly missed. Memorial arrangements have been made for Friday, December 6th at 5:00pm and will be held at the 50 Club, 2500 - 15 Avenue in Didsbury, Alberta. We invite all who knew him to share your stories and celebrate his exceptional life.
