Loretta Teresa Anderson

Loretta Teresa Anderson (nee Dolfo) of Langley B.C. passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Sunday April 19, 2026. Loretta was born November 20, 1934, in Trail BC to Angelo and Dora (nee Romano) Dolfo.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Anderson and brother Larry Dolfo. She leaves behind three loving daughters Sandra Letts (Barrie), Cathy Gay (Barry) and Joann Pierce (Terry); and eight grandchildren Robert (Amanda), Steven (Dana), Sarah(Colin), Michael (Cordelia), James (Maria), David (Brittany), Karra (Patrick), and Stuart (Anikka); and six great grandchildren Charlie, Oliver, Otis, Aidan, Wesley and Isla. Her grandchildren were her true passion and she always had time for them.

Loretta also found much joy spending time with family and friends. She worked for many years at Surrey Memorial hospital where she formed life-long friendships that became extended family. Loretta enjoyed volunteering and giving back to her community. She enjoyed meeting new people and learning new things. She maintained a positive outlook no matter the situation and as a result was happy and kind, always seeing the best in people. Loretta loved to travel and took many trips with family and friends seeing the world and enjoying different cultures especially the food and drink.

She was her family’s steadfast guiding hand and she will be sorely missed.

A celebration of Loretta’s life will be held at 11 am on May 30th at Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church 20675 87th Avenue, Langley, B.C. V1M 2X3.
