Mildred "Millie" Nettie Delores Little

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred (Millie). Millie passed away peacefully at 78 years of age in Red Deer, Alberta. Millie was born on January 12, 1941 in Athabasca, Alberta. She resided in Calgary for many years and after retirement moved to Sylvan Lake with her loving husband, Jim (deceased). She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tracy; granddaughter, Brittany; her 3 surviving sisters, Lorna, Nila and Shirley; her brother, Don; and many relatives and friends. Millie was a kind and gentle woman who loved her family and friends so much. She will be truly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends and community. Our family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Red Deer hospital for her care. A Celebration of Millie’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 6th at Sylvan Lake Royal Canadian Legion, 4916 50 Ave, Sylvan Lake, AB at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Millies’ name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5.
