Dorothy (Dardy - Auntie Dee-Dee) Little

Dorothy Ann Little (nee Livsey). It is with deep sadness we announce that Dorothy passed away on June 22, 2018, at the age of 81. She is predeceased by her father Reginald Henry Livsey and mother Lorna Osborne Bailey. Dorothy was born in Vancouver; grew up in Kerrisdale and graduated from Magee High School. She was beautiful, smart, strong and independent; a great hostess and a wonderful mother.

Dorothy is survived by her devoted daughter Tracie Little (Greg Fischer); grand-dogs Tilly, Bella and Angel; sister Roberta Emery; nieces Christine Emery (Mark) and Jennifer Emery (Matthew); nephew Michael Emery; grand-nieces Elizabeth and Alexandra Emery; cousins Grayson Osborne (Jan) and David Osborne (Roxanne) and Tracie’s father Lawrence Little (Dwayne). We treasure the place she holds in our hearts as a loved and cherished mother, and adored sister and aunt. A family gathering was held in her home to remember Dorothy and followed by cremation. Should friends desire, donations to the Delta Community Animal Shelter, 7505 Hopcott Road, Delta, BC, V4G 1B7, appreciated.

I had the honor and privilege of working with Dorothy in the early 2000's. She was such a joy to have at the office, as long as your contract was perfect, Haha. Her obvious love for Tracie shined through daily and I know Tracie took such amazing care for her in her final days. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Tracie....you and your family are continuously in our thoughts and prayers.

Tracie, Greg and everyone who loved Dorothy, my heart goes out to you. I remember your mother’s home as very welcoming, even if it was a bit crazy with teenagers for a pool party. Love you Tracie!
