Joseph Anthony LeStrange
February 9, 2025

With much sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph LeStrange on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the age of 62 with his beloved daughter Elizabeth LeStrange by his side, as always.
Joseph is survived by Elizabeth, Sarah Lestrange, sister Mary Welsh, Trav and Dusten Dixon - nieces and nephews Meg Annabel Welsh, Brittany Newby, James Newby, and his devoted former wife Eileen Dixon, who has stood by and taken care of him for many years, during and after their marriage, supporting him in unimaginable ways.
He was a warm and Loving brother, son, uncle, father, and Grandfather, shy but a character once you got to know him, always kind. He took beautiful care of his adoring nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed, but we are comforted to know he is up in heaven with his parents and sister Yvonne. Rest in Peace Jojo, you will live on forever in our hearts.
A private gathering in JoJo's honour will take place at a later date, with details to follow.

Joe, aka Jojo was sweet man who cared about people. Family was very important to him and he was very proud of Dustin, Travis, Elizabeth & Sarah! I knew Jojo as a toddler, looked after him when we all lived in Toronto back in the 60s/70s. I considered him my little brother, when in fact we were first cousins. He struggled & survived serious health issues best he could. He leaves us to Rest in Peace, but he also left us with loving memories! In the words of Robert Munch, “ Love you Forever, Love you for Always.” ❤️ ~ Mary Walsh
I had the privilege and the pleasure to grow up with Jo Jo and call him my best friend. we did everything together and he was part of my wedding party in 1989. We went to school together and we partied together. I will always remember his smile and how much he loved his family. RIP Jo Jo ~ Steve McNeil
