Tony Leo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing on January 19th, 2025, of our beloved husband, father, papa, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beautiful wife Tracy of 21 years, daughters Alia-rose, Sarina, Hailey, grandchildren Mason and Evan, mother Maria, (predeceased by his father Benedetto), sister Rosemarie (Wayne), nephew Matteo, and his partner in crime, cousin, best friend, “brother” Dom, and many more family and friends.

Born on May 28th, 1972, and raised in Vancouver, Tony was a kind-hearted, funny, non-judgemental (blunt) guy who would drop anything and everything for absolutely anyone. He loved his crown and many cans of coke, trips to Mexico, quadding at Tamihi, camping with family and friends, working on his many unfinished car projects, and his night time hobby the Fill-In Words & Numbers puzzles. Tony will truly be missed by family and friends from near and far.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 2- 4pm at Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services, 3070 275A Street, Aldergrove, BC.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 from 1-5pm at Murrayville Hall, 21667 48 Avenue, Langley BC.

I am so sad to hear this my condolences to his wife and children, grandchildren, mother and everyone who knew Tony. I worked at the PNE when I was 15 year's old. I met Tony then through mutual friends. He was one of my first boyfriends I ever had. We were just kids and really only held hands. He was a gentleman even then and bought me my first ever bouquet of flowers. I know he was a loyal and honorable man who was always good to those he cared about. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's been years since I've seen or spoke to him but all the same I feel struck to know this sweet soul is no longer with us. Rip Tony

I first met Tony while working at ITB years ago. Tony was always ready to drop whatever he had going on in order to help out or offer direction to ANYONE coming to him. What I appreciate about Tony most was his honesty, you could always count on him to give his full and honest opinion if you came to him. I loved seeing Tony for years after working with him at the local car meets in Langley as we both have a mutual love for all things fast and loud! My sincere condolences to Tony’s family and friends during this most tragic time. Great people like Tony are few and far between these days. I will always be thankful for his friendship and guidance.

I met Tony and Tracy the first time at one of my wife's work trips in Puerto Rico, we had a great time touring the heritage sites and consuming Puerto Rico rum at a local rum bar. Tony was a very open what you see kind of guy who had a point of view and a good sense of humour. Anita and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Tony's passing something that words never seem to adequately comfort but our thoughts have been with Tracy and all the family since this sad event. Tony, I've know you for 15 years and you were the best neighbor a guy could ask for. Kind, helpful, loyal, understanding and not a pain. Even when you would vent, you had a positive outlook on things to turn themselves around. You were known by many in the neighborhood this way and I can't find a thing about you to complain about. Our deepest condolences to the entire family during this difficult time. I first had the pleasure of meeting Tony in 1989 while on holiday from Australia. He and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming, and it was such a joy to connect with another Leo. Years later, in 2012, I returned with my own family and had the privilege of reuniting with Tony and his loved ones once again. Even then, Tony remained the same kind, genuine, and respectful person I had known since he was a teenager. He was a wonderful soul to talk to, and his presence always brought warmth and positivity. We were heartbroken to learn of his passing. The world has truly lost an extraordinary person, and he will be deeply missed. Love you, mate.
