It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wayne Lemley at the South Health Campus Hospital on Sunday, Jan 5, 2020; peacefully in his sleep. Wayne was in his 89th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of the late Doris Lemley (Parkyn). Loving father of late Debra Lemley. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Connie Lemley. He was the proud grandfather to John (Christina) Morse and Amanda (Kyle) McGovern and proud great-grandpa( Papa) to Marshall, Emma, Taylor and Kolter. Dear God Father to Sabrina, Johnathan, Matthew and (Janie) Delorme. He was the son of the late Floyd and Ruth Lemley of Nanton AB, predeceased by brother’s Ken, Morris and Howard and Sister’s Marie, Jean and Dorothy. Beloved by his surviving sisters Phillis and Sharon. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many good friends.
Family and friends are invited to join the family at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #275, 755 - 40 St SE, Calgary, AB on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 1 to 4 PM.
For those who wish memorial donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Poppy Foundation.

So many wonderful memories of Wayne and Doris. They were good people who would be the first to help anyone in need and Wayne loved to tease. I learned a lot from Wayne that I still use to this day.
