Eldon C. (Fritz) Leflar

With great sadness the family announces that Fritz Leflar, late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 90.

Fritz was predeceased by his parents Vernon and Olive, his brother Glen Leflar; his daughter Elaine Turner; granddaughter Hannah Leflar; and sisters-in-law Doreen Josephson, Audrey Josephson and Lea Leflar.

Fritz is survived by Gloria his loving wife of 67 years; his children Eldon (Sharon) Leflar and their children Chelsea Leflar, Jacey Leflar and Evan Leflar; Dorothy (Danny) Riviere and their children Christopher (Kylie Dahlstrom) Riviere, Kelsey (Cory) Badger and their daughter Danielle, and Courtney Riviere; Barry (Shannon) Leflar and his children Alysia Mellor, Jaden Leflar and Kaylen Leflar; Jeff (Lore) Leflar; son-in-law Dallas Turner and his children Rick (Tammy) Turner and their daughter Brooklyn, and Tyna Turner and her sons Kadence and Jarrett. He is also survived by his brothers Roy (Florence) Leflar and Wayne Leflar; and his sister-in-law Inez Leflar.

Fritz was born near Reliance, Saskatchewan on October 10, 1932. He moved to Radville, Saskatchewan in 1944 and lived and worked in Radville until 1981 when MacRobert Motors closed. He continued his GM Parts Manager career in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. In 2003, Fritz and Gloria retired to Katepwa Beach, Saskatchewan and then moved to Regina in 2015. 

Fritz was a sports fan and cheered hard for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Edmonton Oilers. 

A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of  2023. Family and friends so wishing may make donations in memory of Fritz to Telemiracle, your local Humane Society, or charity of your choice.
