Jennifer Mary Larsen passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at the age of 70 years.

Jennifer was born in Slough, England on January 4th, 1941 to Percy and Madge Crunden. She came to Canada in 1962 where she met and married Eric Larsen in 1965. They worked at a few places throughout Alberta before retiring to an acreage near Caroline.

Jennifer is lovingly remembered by her husband, Eric, children: Alice (Dave) Kolisnyk of Red Deer, Blake of Red Deer, and Martin (Kim); grandchildren Kirby and Kylie of Drumheller. Also by her brother, Jonathan who lives in Thailand, and niece Francis who lives in Indonesia.

Jennifer was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Madge Crunden in England.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene in Caroline on Tuesday, July 26 2011 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Alternative Funeral Services in Red Deer.

Dear Uncle Eric, Alice and Dave, Blake, Martin and Kim and Kirby and Kylee, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Jennifer, your dear wife, mom and grandmother. I had the honor of knowing her through all these years, albeit mostly at a distance for so many years now but first as a brides maid in 1965 when I was in grade 6. Her accent and her looks were exotic too me at that time and it has had a lasting impression on me.Throughout all those years Aunt Jennifer was a joy to be around. She was always chipper,upbeat, smiling and laughing with eyes that twinkled. She is was one of the most generous and thoughtful people I know, always thinking of those small precious little gifts at Christmas, to one and all. She found lightness where ever she was.I am sorry I am not there to pay last respects to this very dear soul but my heart is sending you sincere symphathy. with Love from Morganne on Bowen Island BC.

Eric and family, We were so sorry to hear of Jennifer's passing. Our long ago connection goes back to my (Jo's)meeting Jennifer through the church and becoming friends. Later on as Jim and I built a log home, Jennifer worked with me to sand and finish the inside of our home, which took 6 months and Jim and Eric did the finishing work, putting in the cupboards and bathroom fixtures, etc. We have thought of your family many times, wondering how all of you were doing.
