We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Larry Schmidt, age 75 on May 27, 2025 after a long courageous battle with prostate cancer.
Predeceased by his parents John & Agnes and his brothers Ken & Harvey. Larry is lovingly survived by his wife Diane, daughter Stephanie (Blaine), his 2 grandchildren, Mya (Mathew) and Gavin. Also survived by his brother Mike, nieces and nephew as well as extended family members.
Larry was employed at the Co-op Refinery for many years where he met some great friends. After he retired in 2007 he started his own consulting business until he fully retired in 2023. He was a long-time season ticket holder with the Saskatchewan Roughriders as well as following the Regina Pats and an avid movie buff. He proudly watched Mya and Gavin in their sports from a young age until recently. He absolutely loved holidaying especially in Las Vegas and Mexico and took many trips with family and friends.

At Larry's request there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Anyone who is able, please consider donating blood in his memory.
