It is with extreme sadness we announce the sudden passing of Kristopher George Kups. Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents George and Gloria, son Lundyn and Lundyn’s mother Julie and her son Dawsyn, brother Derek (Allison) and their sons Benson and Wyatt. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended Family, and Friends.
Kristopher was born on January 11, 1976 in Regina, SK and it wasn’t long before his fun loving, out-going personality shone through. He had a way of making friends by simply smiling at you when you first met him. His charismatic and energetic presence lit up any room. He had a way of leaving ever-lasting impressions and long-term friendships.
Kristopher first attended St. Timothy Elementary, O’Neill High School, and St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Kris was a jack of all trades. He started with Overhead Doors and Garage and shortly moved on to expand his trade with Evraz Inc.
Kristopher was passionate about sports; he grew up playing hockey, baseball, lacrosse, football, and floor hockey. His love for the sports directed him into a life-long journey of coaching. He loved having fun with the kids while mentoring; he was a positive role model to all the teams he coached. His drive to be the best while having fun and to do your best in life was proven day by day in his coaching.
Kristopher enjoyed fishing, travelling, exploring, listening to music, and spending quality time with his son Lundyn. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Turvey Centre, 100 Armour Road, Regina, SK.
