Sopie Koziatek was born on June 21, 1930 in Bavaria, Germany and passed away at the Clifton Manor Long Term Care in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, October 18, 2020. She is lovingly remembred by her daughter, Anita (Tom) and family; beloved granddaughters, Jessica (Zach) and family, and Alyssa (Julio) and family; as well as many relatives who remain in Germany. Sophie was predeceased by her husband, Stanley. Sophie was a positive and loving ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She will live on in our hearts and happy memories. Sincere thanks and appreciation to all the Clifton Manor staff and Dr. Randall Sargent for the wonderful care. Cremation has taken place and at Sophie’s request, there will be no Funeral Service. May she rest in eternal peace.

Sophie I have so many special memories when you were with us at Cedarwood. You had such a wonderful sense of humour and your love of animals made us smile. Your relationship with your family was wonderful and we always had laughs when Tom came to pick you up to take you home for a few days. Rest In Peace.
