Loretta departed this world on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, finally free from pain. She is lovingly remembered her children; Edith Koprek (Richard Beckford), Derek Koprek (Patti Shaw) and Cheryl L’Hirondelle; grandchildren; Kevin Murphy and Olivia and Callum Beckford; great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives.

A gathering to celebrate Loretta’s life will be held at the Dalhousie Community Centre, 5432 Dalhart Road NW, Calgary, AB on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Loretta’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Calgary), #205, 6223 – 2 Street SE, Calgary, AB, T2H 0R5.

I will always remember my Auntie Loretta for her strength, and straightforward ways. There was no guessing how she felt about people places and things. She never shied away from giving an opinion. Her honesty made an impression on me and I welcomed her loving yet stern advice . She was like a second mom and I will miss her always.
