Samuel 'Sam" Barrett Klemenz

Sam was my best friend. Although we hadn't been speaking at the time of his passing. I loved him dearly. Through all his struggles his main concern was that everyone around him was happy. He always tried to make people happy. Sam and I battled a terrible demon together. We layed in a bed together and came off opiates together. I saved his life one night... I'll never forget the terror of not knowing if he was coming home and when he showed up I was so happy. Sam wasn't perfect, but he was as close as it gets no matter what struggles he had. He deserved so much that was taken far too soon. I'll never forget his laugh. I'll never forget his smile. He is the reason I have the career I do. He is part of the reason I've been clean and I wish he was here to just sit on the couch wrapped in blankets watching movies. I will miss doing that the most. Guilt is currently eating me alive. I wish Sam had seen my messages trying to reach out to him over the last year. I drove by his house so many times and could never bring myself to come to the door. I regret that so much

Just saw this death of Sam your son Dave. So sorry for your lost think of you often. The last time we talked we had expressed that our both boys were about but a few months apart both born in 89. I believe it was in the late 90’s.
