Dorothy Kittleson

October 7, 2020

Dorothy Kittleson
Dorothy passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and their love, and never without her steadfast faith and unwavering kindness, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020; following a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She is forever remembered by her step-children Lois, Bill, Kevin and Melissa; grandchildren Billie, David, Tyler, Jordan, Madisson, Luke and Logan; great-grandson Jeremiah; extended family Jackie, Randy, Dayle and Michael. Although Dorothy did not have children of her own, she was beloved by her many “adopted kids” who knew her as Aunty Kitty. Her memory will live with us always and the world is darker without her light, giant smile and genuine hugs. She is reunited in heaven with her true love Winston, parents Earnest and Marguerite and best friend Esther. A private graveside will be held, however a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date for all who wish to attend and remember Dorothy and the Godly woman that she was to many, and also together with her eternally beloved, Winston.

Dear Family, I was so sorry to hear about your loved one. Losing someone we love can be the most difficult time in our life, but our Creator tells us at Psalm 34:18 "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." I know you have many wonderful memories, may these help ease what you are going through and bring you comfort also. ~ Marilyn Ens

I'm sending love, condolences, and prayers to comfort my cousin's family. Dorothy's mother and my grandmother were close sisters. I remember the few times Dorothy visited us in Oregon and sometimes I'd call and we would talk about the McGurks and the Hannas as I worked on my family tree. Dorothy was a sweet and kind person—she'll be missed. Bless you, all. ~ Maureen Mead
