It is with deep sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Kerry on Friday, April 10, 2026. His family extends sincere gratitude to the first responders who quickly and compassionately cared for him following a medical emergency at work.

Kerry leaves to cherish his memory, those he loved, and in turn who loved him dearly: his children Nicole (Jesse), Jenna (Austin), and Reuben; brothers, Don (the late Patty) and Jeff (Sheila); and of course his dear ma Donna. He was predeceased by his father Reuben Roy. He is also fondly remembered by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Born on October 8, 1961 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Kerry lived a life of passion, adventure, generosity, and service to the people and communities he loved. His impact was both intimate and far-reaching.

Kerry completed the Denturist Technology program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 1986. While attending NAIT, he cheered on the Edmonton Oilers throughout their 1980s dynasty, sparking a lifelong love for the team that he proudly passed on to his son. Kerry went on to proudly own and operate his own business for over 30 years, taking great pride and joy in giving people back their smiles.

All who knew Kerry will remember his deep love for family, which was evident in everything he did. When we think of Kerry, we think of his love of music, playing games—especially Yahtzee—with his kids, helping the refs call the game from the ringette and hockey stands, and gathering for Sunday suppers with family.

Kerry was larger than life, with an infectious laugh, quick wit, and a charming personality that lit up any room.  His big heart and friendly smile will be missed by all who had the good fortune to cross paths with him, because to know him really was to love him.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday April 21 at the Gateway Church, 1812 Arthur St, Regina, SK.
