Kenneth Lee Dull

December 18, 2025

Kenneth Lee Dull,

Kenneth Lee Dull, of Regina, died December 18, 2025, at the age of 76, at the Broadview Centennial Lodge with his wife, Paulette (McCann) Dull by his side. He was born August 11, 1949, to Emory Jay (E.J.) and Paddy Jane Dull in Pana IL.

Ken attended elementary and high school in Pana, IL and the University of Southern Illinois and received a Certificate in Computer Science from the University of Regina.

He worked at SaskPower, Westbridge, and lastly at SaskEnergy as a database administrator.

Ken lived up to his life motto, “Never a dull moment.” One never knew if he would decide to twirl them in a dance in a restaurant or strike a comedic pose. He had an amazing wit for any situation. He was creative and had a good eye for photography and beautiful objects. He loved collecting: records, books, paintings, and coffee mugs. He enjoyed music, especially classic rock and jazz. He enjoyed small children, probably because like them, he never forgot how to be playful.

For all his all fun loving ways, he could be serious. He prayed to make Jesus his Lord in 1987 and was baptized that year. He later questioned his faith but returned to worshipping God before his death.

He loved a good cup of coffee and the conversation to accompany it, on topics such as, free will and the nature of reality.

Ken leaves to mourn his wife, Paulette, sons, William (Bill) Dull and Emerson (Fraser) Dull; Susan Statten, grandchildren, Hayden Dull and Kendra Jenkin; and his sister, Sherry (Gerald) Bumgardner, brothers, Mike (Helen) Dull, Martin (Amy Portz) Dull, brothers in law, Neil (Susan) McCann, Blair (Lynn Guina) McCann and Faye (Ron) Hindle, stepmother in law, Adele (Thompson) McCann and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Emory (E.J.) and Patty Jane (Manuel) Dull, his father and mother in law, Leonard (Art) McCann and Ruth (Spicer) McCann, and brother in law Gerald Bumgardner.

The world is a duller place without Ken. A service to honour this remarkable man will be held, Saturday, January 10th at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Gospel Chapel, 1850 Parker Avenue, Regina.

Dear Paulette, Bill, Fraser and all the Dull and McCann family members. As always, it seems impossible to find the “right” words at a time like this.  I wish I’d known Ken, but do know the void his passing will leave in your hearts.  My heartfelt condolences go out to you.  Hold on to all the happy memories of life with Ken and and remember those qualities (& quirks) that endeared him to you.Hugs & Love❤️
