April 11, 1930 – April 8, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Rockyview General Hospital, Calgary, Alberta. Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep. Betty is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Brenda Lavergne and Pat Stoetzel; grandsons, Chuck Neufeld (Kelsey), Michael Stoetzel (Jessie) and Jay (Jody) Lavergne; three great-grandchildren, Avery, Anthea and Lyndon; two sisters, Marie Kennedy and Lorraine Webber (Harold) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Betty's Life will be held at the Evangelical Convenant Church, 550 Hutcheson Street, Melfort, SK on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Gary Gilkinson will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to The Arthritis Society, 300 – 1301 8th Street SW, Calgary, AB, T2R 1B7 or Gideons International Canada, PO Box 3619, Guelph, ON, N1H 7A2.
