It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to our dear mother who left us too soon after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the age of 63 years. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grammie, sister, niece and friend. Donna was born in Edmonton and grew up in Alberta, but she loved the coasts.

She spent years living in both Vancouver, BC and St. John’s, NFLD, where she worked as a nurse and touched many lives. Donna will be missed by many as she was an inspiration of compassion and caring.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held in Calgary in June among the sun and flowers.

I would like to send my condolences to Donna's family on the loss of such a beautiful person. Donna was a great mentor to me when I started working in ICU in 1991. She was a great nurse and an even greater person. Your mom would take new RN's under her wing and teach them, not just the technical side of being a Critical Care RN but the caring, compassionate side. I loved to see her laugh and would wait for the next pair of really cool ear rings to appear.It was a pleasure to work with Donna.
