Fayanne Grace Kato

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fayanne Grace Kato, daughter to George and Sarah and sister to Michael.

Fayanne was born in 1975, on her Grandmother’s birthday. On May 9th she passed peacefully with her mother and brother by her side at the Surrey Memorial Hospital, a few days short of her 43rd birthday. At birth she was just perfect and true, however as time progressed she developed challenges. She was adored and loved by all who knew her and was special to all her caregivers. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to her caregivers who over the years ensured her comfort and health, especially at 48b where she resided for the last half of her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 7th at 2:00 pm at the Ladner United Church, 4960 48 Ave, Delta, BC, V4K 4X6

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation online at www.bcchf.ca.

My deepest condolences, I didn’t know Fayanne personally. I have experience the pain of losing a loved. I lost my brother at a young age too. The message found in God’s Word has comforted me through those difficult days. Having the hope of seeing my brother and many others like Fayanne reunited with their loved ones again has helped to cope with my loss and endure difficult days. The Bible clearly states: 1 Corinthians 15: 26 says: “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing” Death is an enemy since it separate us from our loved ones. God has the purpose of reuniting us with our loved ones through a resurrection, and eliminate death forever. Jesus clearly said: in John 11:28 “I am the resurrection and the life”.
