Kathy Marie Godin (nee: Allen)

August 18, 1952-June 1, 2026

Kathy, 73, of Langley, BC passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026 with her daughter by her side after a short stint in the hospital. She was married for 47 years and had 3 beautiful children whom she loved dearly, as well as, 3 grandchildren whom were the light of her life.  Kathy was a Brookswood resident for 51 years, her home was always open to the neighborhood kids and her children’s friends growing up.  In her younger years, she liked to travel with family, play bingo, bowl and garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

She is predeceased by her mother and father – Blanche & Roger Allen (2004/2011), sister Carrie Louise Allen (2001), husband Mark Godin (2020), son Shawn Godin (2001) and daughter Kristy Godin (2020).

She is survived by, sadly missed and forever loved by her daughter Leah (Paul) Chambers and 3 grandchildren – Lillian, Savannah and Murdoc; sister-in-law Lori (Mike) Pengilly; friends Dwayne Johnston & Kathy Carlson; mother-in-law Audrey Godin; her siblings: Terry (Donna) Allen, Garry (Dorothy) Allen, Jim (Toni) Allen, Tim (Bernadette) Rinn, and Lynn Bolt; among many nieces and nephews.

Kathy will forever be remembered for her kind heart, her caring ways, and the never-ending love and sacrifices for her family.  Know that when you look to the stars, that she is looking down on us and shining brightly; find comfort that she joins her husband, son and daughter once again.

At Kathy’s request a private family burial will occur Monday July 6 at 11am, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00pm at the Godin’s residence – 19809 37th Ave, Langley BC for anyone that would like to attend and share stories and memories.
