Brian Kaasa

On Saturday, March 21, 2020, Brian Edmund Julius Kaasa went fishing with his brother. Always enjoying the time they spent together.

Today he is planning his next hunting trip with his friend.

He is also looking forward to planting his garden. Can’t wait for his fresh tomatoes.

He is watching over his children and grandchildren, as he did in life. His grandchildren were a great source of love to him. Enjoying their company immensely. Always ensuring his family was OK.

He really has not left us.

Right now he is walking around the farm with his Uncle, just shooting the breeze, as the farm has always been his home.

Brian has always been a headstrong man. It has because of this that he was able to “go on” with the so many serious medical issues and the trails of life. He carried on and never gave up.

He kept every one of his cousins in his heart. Always thinking and talking about them fondly.

To all, his nieces and nephews, remember all the good times, that’s what he wants.

He is now with all the pets he loved, Trix, Roxie, PD, Thor, Storm, Ralph, Mitzi and Sammy. They are all playing ball, as Brian throws it and all in no more pain.

Brian will be greatly missed, always in our hearts and in our memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to circumstances. Brian would want everyone to stay safe.

Our deepest condolences to all of the family. Such a sad time for everyone as we can't be there to help you through your loss. Yes, we can text and call but it's just not the same. We have so many memories that go way back to the early '80s when we all lived on Pineland Close. Many good memories. It was difficult for the guys to get the grass mowed on Saturdays unless they started first thing in the morning as by 1:00 pm it was a given everyone would congregate on someone's lawn and that was the end of the work. Great memories, pig roasts and block parties. Then in the 90's we all moved to different locations but remained in touch, just not as frequent. So happy Jo-Anne that you and Brian were able to join us at our family reunion last August. It was truly great fun reliving some of these old memories.
