June (Joan) Diane Stickel (nee Schill)

It’s with deep sadness that we announce that June (Joan) Diane Stickel (nee Schill) has gained her angel wings and made her journey home.  She passed peacefully on March 13th, 2025 at 4:05 pm surrounded by her loved ones at Parkside in Regina Saskatchewan.

She will be greeted in heaven by her grandparents, Gaspard and Nora Jeannotte, her parents Eleanor & Gus Hartenberger & Wilf Schill, as well as her little brother Morley, her beloved grandson-in-law Shem and many of her nephews, nieces, aunties, uncles & cousins.

She will be watching over her loved ones who she has left behind her dearest Husband Gord, Daughter Roberta  Smith (Ron Mackin), Son Doug Birns (Ronnie), grandchildren Kristal (Terrance), Jamie, Kari, Jenn, Jodi (Jerrod), Devon, Kyle (Regan), and Kelsey (Yves) her great grandchildren Taylor, Cody, Kassidy, Teegan, Caiden, Austen, Kaleb, Ethen, Tyson, Kole, Charlie, Liam, Oliver, Nora, Myla, Bishop, and Archer, and her great great grandson Luca. Her sisters Patti (Marv) Zehner and Pam (Dwayne) Brown, Gord’s siblings, special Aunt Pat Grubb and numerous extended family members and friends.

Our family would like you to join us for a memorial gathering in honour of Joan.

March 26th, 2025, 1:00pm - 4:00pm – Come & Go

The Serbian Club, 2775 Avonhurst Drive, Regina, SK.

A brief memorial service will be at 2pm followed by a reception.
